Organic Agriculture and Gardening in the Light of Maharishi Vedic Science -- Key to Global Sustainability

We've heard of many people who wished they could still join this wonderful course, so a catch-up course is being offered in the evenings from Monday April 30 to Thursday May 3, plus Saturday evening, May 5. This will allow the new participants to join the group that will be finishing the course on May 4th to 7th.


This course is amazingly informative. The knowledge is profound, delightful, and practical.

• 16-Lesson Course on Vedic Agriculture and Gardening taught by Peter Swan.


• This course is offered, on-campus only. (Not offered as an on-line course).

• Overview of the course

• Transformation of modern agriculture from ploughing to no-till

• Transformation of soil science from chemical to biological

• Transformation of soil fertility from limited to unlimited

• Transformation of gardening techniques from culturing outer looks to

culturing inner nutrient value

• Transformation of gardening techniques from applying chemicals to creating

humus

• Transformation of waste into fertility by composting

• The principles of organic agriculture: From quantity to quantity plus

quality

• Deeper principles of organic agriculture: from matter to sound

• Maharishi inaugurates Vedic organic agriculture

• Vedic agriculture as total knowledge

• The sequential unfoldment of total natural law

• Veda in the environment at the basis of agriculture

• Principles of Vedic agriculture - from softest thinking to greatest yields

• From poverty to affluence - Maharishi's poverty removal program

• Consciousness-based agriculture ranges from the Unified Field to the

farmer's field.


Catch-Up lessons will be held from 7:45 to 9:15 PM in the Dreier Building, classroom #3:

~Participants wanting to create a photo album and/or greeting cards with photos will need to bring 1-3 photos (to cut to each session (except the last session).

~Photo album participants may want to work with a photo theme such as a person, a group of people, a year, or an event.

~Participants creating art books and or greeting cards may want to bring images such as drawings, pictures from books and magazines, or photos.

 

Bring your own scrapbook supplies and or favorite art mediums (pastels and paint materials not recommended). Sufficient supplies will also be available.

Option 1: Structured Class for Business  

Tuesdays at 1:00 PM for 1-1/2 hours for 8 weeks - Starts April 10th thru approximately May 22. Pay at the door by cash, check or credit card. $20/session ($160 total - a huge bargain!) 

  1. 8-week training course (1 session per week)

  2. PLUS 1 bonus session per week (optional, on Fridays at lunchtime, see below)

  3. 1.5 hour afternoon OR evening classes (or you can attend both for no extra charge, if 2 class times are offered!)

  4. several payment options - only $20/session (her rate for this type of group training outside of Fairfield is $45/session)

Option 4: For Business: Every Friday 12:00 PM -1:30 PM, through approximately May 18th, brown bag session at Phyllis Khare's house. Each Friday will have a different topic depending on who shows up. You can come to as many or as few classes as you like. Please arrive on time. DIY Electronics Club with Richard Walbalm - He teaches electronics to hobbyists who would build things and bring it to market. For those who have an interest in learning electronics and commercialize their inventions.  Open to college and high school students. 


They will meet regularly to brainstorm for ideas of what to build that is marketable, solve technical problems, and conduct electronics class.


This economic gardening hot spot space is available in the Bonnell Building with test equipment such as oscilloscope, frequency generator, counter and other components
